Avery Horovitz is a litigation attorney, focusing his work on complex commercial disputes. Avery represents clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-dispute counseling and risk assessment, through final resolution. Avery has experience handling cases involving contract claims, constitutional claims, intellectual property disputes, and administrative proceedings. Avery also has experience working on transactional matters, including trademark prosecution, and intellectual property acquisitions and licensing. Avery’s unique background, having served as a trained mediator at the Benjamin N. While studying at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Avery also served as Vice-President of the Gaming Law Society. Before assuming his current role as of counsel at Taylor Dykema PLLC, Avery spent two years working as an associate attorney with Bochner PLLC’s litigation practice group in New York City. Prior to attending law school, Avery received his Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University, majoring in political science, with a minor in media studies.

When he’s not busy serving clients, Avery enjoys playing guitar and saxophone, cheering on his hometown Ottawa Senators, and spending time with his wife and son, and their zoo consisting of two dogs, a bearded dragon and a Meyer’s parrot.
